Since I have been getting closer to redeveloping over the last few years, I have not been maintaining my house at all. Every year for the last few years the roof has leaked and last year a new leak developed. There were three damp spots in one room - or so I thought! A couple of weeks ago I looked up and I could see the roof tiles. I had holes, not damp spots (see photo).
In the front yard is a plumbago, which I love, but it has got a bit out of hand. You can see it growing out of the roof (see photo). I have just left it there for the last few years.
What I will miss is two beautiful trees in the back yard. Both are very big. One is a jacaranda (my fave) and other is a gum tree of some description. I have taken photos so I can remember them.
