Form workers

I was hoping that the concrete slab for the second floor would be able to be poured before Christmas, but yesterday nothing happened at all, so my hopes were dashed. However, today there are workers there setting out the steel cables (or whatever they are) that the concrete is poured over. Maybe my wish will come true.

  1. Reinforcing steel is the term instead of steel cables. In some parts of the world they are called rebars i.e. reinforcing bars. Many moons ago, I used to schedule these i.e. from building plans, determine how many, how long and what shape, and then detail in such a way ready for manufacture and delivery. Another note from the builder's daughter :-)
