On Thursday morning driving back from the surf club at breakfast-time, I was coming to the crest of the hill where I am staying (300m from my place) and saw a giant orange spider's leg down the bottom of the hill where my house is/will be. Aha, I thought, they are pouring concrete. I drove past on my way to work and there were three big cement trucks feeding the big orange spider's leg, which was pouring the concrete for the slab for the second storey. Towards the end of next week the brickies will be back to lay the bricks for the second storey.
