Rendering

Late last week the builders started the rendering. They did it on the top half of the house. It looks like a layer of cement on the outside of the house, although I'm sure that's not what it is. They have also done the same on the inside walls of the top storey. Apparently, they do the whole top storey first and then take down the scaffolding and then do the ground floor. Today they applied some white stuff (don't know what it is) on top of the grey cement-looking layer.

It is also about a year since the original house was demolished - they started just before Easter and finished just after Easter.
