I went to the house this morning for a look. The builders have started installing the ceilings upstairs. I could see a bit from the courtyard by looking upwards. I could seen that they have done the ceiling in the study and part of the TV room. There was a ladder I could have climbed up, but it was a bit too wobbly for my liking.
I have been looking at furniture because the sales are on at the moment, but the interior designer is going away tonight for three weeks and she hasn't done her "colour board" and won't let me get anything until she has done this. She says that people will judge her from my house, as well as all her others. That's why she doesn't want me to get anything until she gets back. I would have saved about $1,000 per couch, but she says she can get things made cheaply. That had better be true.
Apparently, I will meet with the builder and the cabinet maker this week. Let's see if he organises it.
