Floor boards

The man who sands and polishes the floor boards must have had a cancellation because he will be on the job today and tomorrow. I don't know if he will need to return on Monday.

When I have driven past the house on the way to work this week there has been at least half-a-dozen vehicles parked out the front.

The painter has finished upstairs and will finish downstairs when the floor boards are finished. The electrician has installed all the lights upstairs, the outside lights and the pendant lights and fans downstairs, but not the downlights. I don't know how this will go with the floor boards man because he wanted all the lights to be fitted.

The garage door is on and I just went to have a look inside and discovered I couldn't get to the door that we have been using. It is located in the garage, but the garage door is operated by a remote control. I know that it can be opened manually, but I've never had a garage door before, let alone an automatic one, so I don't know how to open it manually.
